About the course

Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to develop their sense making skills in order for them to be able to collect, analyse and interpret information and data to conclude and/or make decisions.

Objectives

At the end of the course, learners will be able to:

Know information collection tools and organisation techniques
Filter information into classification structures
Use processing techniques and process different information sources
Identify missing or erroneous information and document it within sources
Review information sources to identify relationships and linkages
Suggest inferences and impact based on the relationships and linkages between the information sources

Minimum entry requirements

No formal qualification—Participants should be able to converse, read, and write in English at the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) and/ or Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4 proficiency level.
