Course Overview

This course offers a comprehensive overview of efficient food packaging and order fulfilment processes, focusing on preparing packing materials and organising stations.

Safely and attractively packaging food and beverages while maintaining their integrity; accurately assembling and cross-checking orders to minimise errors.

Professionally presenting orders to customers with effective communication techniques and adhering to organisational SOPs through detailed walkthroughs and role-play scenarios to ensure compliance and enhance customer experience.

Course Objectives

This course aims to empowers learners with the essential skills to manage efficient food packaging and delivery operations, while maintaining quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and Organize Packing Materials to efficiently handle disposables and condiments at packing stations to ensure smooth and organized food packaging processes
  • Safely Pack Food and Beverages for Delivery or Take-Away using skills to safely and attractively package food and beverages, maintaining product quality and presentation during transit
  • Accurately Assemble and Verify Orders by cross-checking items to minimize errors, ensuring customer satisfaction and order accuracy
  • Present Orders Professionally to Customers by developing communication techniques to present orders to customers in a friendly and professional manner, enhancing the customer experience
  • Follow Organisational SOPs (standard operating procedures) for all tasks, ensuring compliance and consistency

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, trainees will be able to:

Who Should Attend

This programme is suitable for Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident aged 16 years old and above with:

  • Mild Intellectual Disabilities (IQ Range 50-70)
  • Mild Autism (Level 1)
  • Unemployed persons with the above disabilities
  • In-employment persons with the above disabilities (self-sponsored)
  • In-employment persons with the above disabilities (company-sponsored) 

Currently not pursuing full-time education or enrolled in any government or Special Education schools.

Course fee funding is only available for eligible persons with disabilities (Mild Intellectual Disability and Autism Level 1) who are approved by SGEnable.

Minimum Entry Requirements

Applicants should be Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 16 years and above.

Applicants are required to possess the following skills:

  • Basic Literacy and Numeracy Skills
  • Basic Fine Motor Skills: involving the small muscles of the hands, fingers, and wrists. These skills are needed for precise and delicate movements
    • Examples: Writing, Wearing and Tying of Apron, Using utensils like forks and knives, Handling small objects like kitchen tools or measuring ingredients
  • Basic Gross Motor Skills to participate in classroom activities.
    • Examples include: Ability to carry out tasks that involve lifting or carrying objects, Ability to perform tasks while standing

  • 15 hours Training
  • 1 hour assessment

Registration Fee

A Registration Fee of $10.90 (Incl. of 9% GST) will be collected upon course registration, and It is non-refundable.
* In the event of any class cancellation by Eduquest, the Registration fee will be refunded

Miscellaneous Fees (Incl. of 9% GST)

Admin Fee for Absent and Reschedule: $32.70

Admin Fee for Make-up Session for Partial Absent, Appeal & Re-assessment: $54.50

Miscellaneous Fees refer to any non-compulsory fees which the trainees pay only when applicable. Such fees are normally collected by Eduquest when the need arises.
