Course Objectives
This course equip learners with essential digital skills and cybersecurity knowledge needed to thrive in the evolving digital economy. Learners will gain hands-on experience with Gen AI tools, data analytics, and innovative technologies such as AR, while exploring digital applications in the Food Services sector. The course also focuses on continuous personal upskilling and leveraging online resources like the SkillsFuture portal to remain competitive in a technology-driven workplace.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, learners will be:
- Aware of the jobs and digital skills required in the current and future digital economy
- Able to work in a technology-rich environment while understanding and applying cybersecurity practices
- Aware of various digital applications and tools in the Food Service Industry, including widely applicable national or sectoral platforms
- Aware of how data, information, and Gen AI can be used to drive decision-making and productivity for Food Service Industry
- Able to perform functional outcomes using digital tools, software, and AI-powered applications (e.g., Microsoft Co-pilot, Google Gemini and Envoy by Voltade) to access learning paths and enhance productivity
- Aware of core concepts of Gen AI, such as prompt design, responsible usage, and managing risks like bias or misinformation
- Able to follow or develop a post-course action plan to continue learning (i.e., identify advanced courses to further deepen skills in digital tools, AI technologies, and other key areas for Food Service Industry)

Minimum Entry Requirement
Candidates should meet the following entry requirements:
- 16 years and above
- No formal qualification
- Able to speak, listen, read, and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills WSQ Level 4 Workplace Literacy (WPL)
- Able to manage calculations at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills WSQ Level 4 Workplace Numeracy (WPN)
- Possess foundational digital literacy skills required at the workplace
Assessment
Online Assessment (Tests)
The following assessment will be held at the end of the course:
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) - 15 Questions with 4 options each - 30 Mins
- Short Answer Questions (SAQ) - 5 Questions - 30 Mins
