This course bundle provides essential training in food safety and basic first aid, equipping participants with the knowledge to maintain hygiene standards and respond to emergencies effectively. Tailored to Singapore’s regulations, it ensures compliance and enhances workplace safety. 

This bundled program pairing with FSCL 1 from Eduquest and CFA from SFATC is designed to address the growing need for both first aid and food safety across a diverse array of contexts.

As situations demanding both these competencies become more frequent and valued, it is increasingly important to ensure that individuals are well-prepared to handle emergencies and maintain high standards of safety.

Course Objectives

Food Safety Course Level 1: Learn essential food hygiene practices and safety standards to ensure compliance with Singapore's food safety regulations.
CERT First Aider Course BFA WITH CPR & AED: Gain foundational first aid skills, including CPR, wound care, and emergency response, tailored to Singapore's guidelines and workplace safety requirements

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this programme the learner will be able to:

Food Safety Course Level 1: Equip food handlers of both retail and non-retail food establishments with the knowledge and application skills to follow food safety and hygiene procedures and policies, as well as maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of premises.

CERT First Aider Course BFA WITH CPR & AED: Be equipped with the primary skills and knowledge to respond efficiently to a variety of emergency scenarios, and how to manage them especially during the early stages BEFORE the arrival of SCDF ambulance.

Assessment

Food Safety Course Level 1: Written assessment which consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) and Short Answer Questions (SAQ), Practical Performance.

Who Should Attend

Food Safety Course Level 1: Any person who is planning to handle and prepare food and beverage in SFA-licensed food establishment i.e. Kitchen Managers, Supervisors, Chefs, Sous Chefs, Cooks, Kitchen Assistants, Food Stall Assistants and all food and beverage handlers.

CERT First Aider Course BFA WITH CPR & AED: Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) Members. Fire Safety Managers. Workplace Safety and Healthcare Officers. Facility Managers. Supervisors and Managers in Hazardous Industries.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Food Safety Course Level 1: No formal qualification - Participants should have the ability to converse, read & write in English.

CERT First Aider Course BFA WITH CPR & AED: 8 Hours

Registration Fee

A Registration Fee of $10.90 (Incl. of 9% GST) will be collected upon course registration, and It is non-refundable.

Miscellaneous Fees (Incl. of 9% GST)

Admin Fee for Absent and Reschedule: $32.70

Admin Fee for Make-up Session for Partial Absent, Appeal & Re-assessment: $54.50

Miscellaneous Fees refer to any non-compulsory fees which the trainees pay only when applicable. Such fees are normally collected by Eduquest when the need arises.
